We took the kids to Stanley Park and went to the petting zoo. Jake took one look at the big "tracker" and was done with the animals, all he wanted to do was drive!

I had a great visit with Nanny(my mom's mom) at our family reunion in Vancouver. It was so wonderful to see all of my cousins and family members I haven't seen in years and some I had never met.

Lynda said it would be 28 degrees at Jack fish lake and was then fired as the weather forecaster, as you can see from the picture it was FREEZING !!!

Ok so the Martha Stewart in me came out and I made a craft!! It is a Family Home Evening Chart to help us remember to have our family nights. Everyone picked their own name plate and wrote their names on them. Then the assignments are above on the pegs...woohoo look at me being all crafty!!

The girls went to their friends Hailey and Makenna's birthday at Rubi-Star Glam club in Edmonton. They dress them all up and put on music, special effects and a disco ball and let them dance. They had so much fun, what a hoot to watch...

I realized that this is the onlyphoto I have of Jake from Jessie's baptism because while we were taking photos he was running in the halls and in the gym, so I took a pic of him up to no good in the kitchen at home...no surprise there!!

I can't believe my baby girl turned 8, man I'm getting old! This is Jessie in her new outfit from Grandma Sheila for her birthday.

Jessie turned 8 and was baptized a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. We had so many friends and family come to share the day. It was so nice to se how much Jessie is loved!

Ok so I put this one in for all of my cake decorating friends out there!! This is as good as it gets at my house!!! I made an attempt at my moms quadruple layer chocolate cake with homemade glaze on top. The glaze was supposed to run all fancy down the sides, but mine was too thick and I kinda had to push it in blobs over the edge!! But hey it tasted awesome!

Jessie had cowboy day at school and decided to go as "Jessie the Yodeling Cowgirl" from Toy Story 2. We named Jessie and then 6 months later this movie came out, so she has always thought it's quite cool that there is a character with her name! And yes the costume is a Tanya Original....I am thinking of going into business...yeah right!

Lynda was over visiting with her tiny little dog Twinkles. We were all visiting and then heard this little voice saying here, here, here. We looked over to see Jake hand feeding Twinks her food one at a time, it was so precious.

Grandma Sheila came over with Dozens of Sugar cookies to decorate for Easter. Cousin Melanie came along to help. The girls were just wired after this, as we all had to do cookie testing...you know how it goes!

Jake on his Trike with his new "hemeet" (helmet)! The frog on the handle bar is a horn, which he uses while riding in the garage with the girls. The other day I was in a store and a lady was blocking the aisle and Jake yelled out BEEP BEEP!! It was quite funny and we...that is all people in earshot, had a good laugh!
